Forest and Mommy went on an easter egg hunt at Trisha’s house in Shawnee yesterday. Over 400 plastic eggs were hidden in her big yard with a hilly landscape. Forest was very interested in walking up and down the shallow steps in front of her house and not so much interested in gathering eggs. Forest has not tasted candy yet, so didn’t really know what all the fuss was about. Many other families, with at least 20 other children, mostly from Heritage Baptist Church, were participating. After the egg hunt, Trisha told the Easter story for children, using little visual aids inside some plastic eggs. Forest didn’t want to sit still for the story, so we walked around, and he picked some leaves from weeds and put them in a metal pipe.
Forest is investigating a very large Easter egg here.
